The LCA study involved the analysis of CO2 emissions on 9 sample farms from the Campi Protetti Pivetti (Pivetti Protected Fields) project in all crop life-cycle phases: from sowing to harvesting, during the storage of the wheat and its transfer from the silos to the mill, from milling to the finished product and on to its disposal.
The CO2 emissions found for Molini Pivetti in 2019 were 0.546 kg for 1 kg of flour. But we will not rest on our laurels: we will continue to focus on the environmental impact of our products and work to reduce emissions, even below the legal limits
